Problem description
Controller does not turn on
(It does not respond when you press the Xbox button or the sync button)
Symptoms
- Controller does not turn on.
Solution
First, inspect the battery contacts for possible corrosion, then try to replace the batteries. If that does not work, try connecting the controller via USB. If this doesn't work, then you should measure voltages on the board-to-board connector, and later on the various parts of the PCB. You can find pinouts and schematics Here
