Problem description
Buttons are not responding to being pressed.
Symptoms
- Buttons not working.
Solution
Clean carbon tracks on the PCB and carbon pad on the membrane
If cleaning doesn't help, measure continuity between diode footprint and IO expander's respective test pad, early revisions can have their vias disconnect out of nowhere. You can find pinouts and schematics Here
