Problem description
iPad 10th Generation that makes a loud screech sound when audio plays through it.
It will do it regardless of what speaker you have plugged in.
Symptoms
- Speaker makes loud noise
- Ugly sound coming from bottom speaker
- It's not a parts problem
- Speaker works fine in another housing
- Sound is a loud screeching noise
Solution
First, test with known good speaker, to ensure it's not a parts issue
Then do a visual inspection of the board for any water damage or pry damage.
If all looks good, then replace the IC below.
It is located under the main shield on the right, next to the battery connector
