Problem description
When turning on the iPad the Apple logo appears on the screen but the device will not fully boot. It may stay on the Apple logo permanently or restart itself after a short time.
Symptoms
- Boot looping, only displaying the Apple logo
- Never gets to the lock screen
Solution
Disconnect all flex cables. This can often be caused by the headphone jack extension flex cable becoming damaged after a drop. Also check for loose or broken coils around the power management IC on the logic board.
