Problem description

When both Joy-cons are docked into station, Left/Right Joy-con disconnects when giving input to the other Joy-con (when left Joy-con is given an input, Right Joy-con Disconnects).

Symptoms

  • Joy-con disconnects when giving input to the other Joy-con

Solution

Replace the side-rail of Joy-con that causes the disconnect issue (it may also be noted that the controller that causes the disconnect issue shows a connection icon at the bottom left that specifies that it is connected wireless though it is docked), this issue can also be caused by liquid damage in/on the connection point or on ribbon- Check for liquid first to see if an ISO-cleaning may fix the issue, then proceed to replace if no changes occurred.
