Solution

Failing SSD, clone the original M.2 SSD to another M.2 SSD.

The SSD can be located and ordered from other places as well, even from a broken Xbox Series X.

Note: Internal Xbox Series X SSD drives can only be used as internal SSDs in other Xbox Series X consoles if they are cloned. Xbox Series X SSD drives will not work in Xbox Series S if they are cloned from and Xbox Series X beforehand.
