The board has a 40-amp blade-style fuse that may go bad. If the device has a known good battery and the device is having the symptoms of "Replace Battery" per the user guide.
To replace the fuse:
* Remove battery and battery cover
* Remove the 4 Phillips screws
* Remove back cover
* Disconnect all connectors on main board and remove.
* Desolder and resolder a new 40-amp blade-style fuse.
* Place the main board back and reconnect all connectors.
* Feed battery wires back through labeled openings on back cover and reinstall.
* Screw in 4 screws.
* Install battery and cover.
* Complete.
