40 AMP FUSE REPLACEMENT

The board has a 40-amp blade-style fuse that may go bad. If the device has a known good battery and the device is having the symptoms of "Replace Battery" per the user guide. To replace the fuse:

  • Remove the battery and battery cover
  • Remove the 4 Phillips screws
  • Remove the back cover
  • Disconnect all connectors on the main board and remove the main board.
  • Test continuity on the 40-amp fuse.
  • Desolder and resolder a new 40-amp blade-style fuse.
  • Place the main board back and reconnect all connectors.
  • Return battery wires through labeled openings on the back cover and reinstall.
  • Screw in 4 screws.
  • Install battery and cover.
  • Complete.
