40 AMP FUSE REPLACEMENT
The board has a 40-amp blade-style fuse that may go bad. If the device has a known good battery and the device is having the symptoms of "Replace Battery" per the user guide. To replace the fuse:
- Remove the battery and battery cover
- Remove the 4 Phillips screws
- Remove the back cover
- Disconnect all connectors on the main board and remove the main board.
- Test continuity on the 40-amp fuse.
- Desolder and resolder a new 40-amp blade-style fuse.
- Place the main board back and reconnect all connectors.
- Return battery wires through labeled openings on the back cover and reinstall.
- Screw in 4 screws.
- Install battery and cover.
- Complete.
