Solution

No power / 0 amp pulled from the charger / battery fake charging. If the phone powers on but no charge.

Try replacing the ribbon connector that connects the bottom PCB to the main PCB over the battery. Check the left side of the ribbon connector on the main board is fully on the main board. Left side is power, right side is ground. The FPC connector can become dislodged and/or easily damaged when clipping in a ribbon cable, when testing check voltage through the charge port, then through the charge port and ribbon connector. If power is constant then clip in the ribbon connector and with a small tipped test probe you can test for power at the motherboard end.
