Most likely, one of the cogs on the stepper motors responsible for the sensor movement came loose from the shaft. It can simply be glued back on. Only the small cogwheel on the motor itself needs to be reattached as the big one is mounted on a rectangular shaft.
It's probably a good idea to always reattach both cogwheels as they tend to fail in quick succession. |
