Does not recognize sim card (No sim out of nowhere) |
Charging port flex cable On Huawei P30 pro, sim slot is located on the bottom of the phone. Charging port flex cable connects charging port to mainboard, aswell as connecting sim slot daughter board to mainboard. For some reason (not sure if its simply a design flaw, mechanical stress or whatever..), pins gets broken off the connector (either on sim slot daughter board side or on mainboard side) and looses connectivity. Solution is to replace the flex cable, and before doing so, residue of the pins should be taken out of the connector. |
