Symptoms

  • Not turning on.
  • Pulling 120 mA from the charge port.

Solution

Cause:

  • Spillage
  • Corrosion on keyboard backlight connector
  • Short to ground via keyboard backlight connector

Fixed by removing keyboard backlight connector. Replace with new keyboard backlight connector.
