Problem description
Diagnosis and repair of an iPhone 12 that will not allow you to adjust the brightness of the display.
Symptoms
- Phone shows Apple logo at full brightness
- Once it gets to the home screen the display gets really dark
- May be confused with "no backlight"
Solution
- Connect the ear speaker flex to get the brightness to work.
- if it still does not work, then the original ear speaker flex may be bad.
- In this case, try a new ear speaker flex (but you will lose Face ID)
