iPad 12.9 2nd gen Problems solutions
No touch after screen replacement If there is no touch after attempting a screen replacement with a known good screen, most likely the screen was connected/disconnected with the battery plugged into the board. This most likely has resulted in a blown touch filter on the far end of one of the FPCs. Replacement of this component will often times resolve touch issues.
No Backlight after screen replacement If there is no backlight after a screen replacement, the screen was most likely connected/disconnected with the battery plugged into the board. This most likely has caused one or both of the backlight filters above one of the FPCs to blow. Replacement of these components will often time resolve backlight issues.
